Baba Educational Society

It was in the year 2000 that an important and significant decision was taken up by Baba Educational society was aware of the fact that a number of hospitals already existed in the city. In fact it was found that the city already had enough hospitals than required. So, it was decided that since the sole purpose of setting up the hospital was to serve the under-privileged section of the rural area. Hence, its location should be setup in the rural area. Hence, its location in a small rural hamlet called "Matiyari" which is a part of chinhat, Lucknow. It was named 'BabaHospital' so that the blessings of Sai Baba would always be with us and to remind us to follow the path of his teachings lest we forget.

Baba Hospitals is multi-specialty, 250 bedded hospital with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The hospital provides 24x7, 365 days, round the clock emergency and ambulance services.

The outdoor patient facility is provided in almost every field of medicine, such as Medicine, Gynecology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dentistry and Physiotherapy. Apart From these, Cardiac, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Plastics surgery patients can also be dealt with at Baba Hospital. These specialties OPD are run by renowned faculty.

The hospital has well equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (INCU) and a Dialysis Unit. Major and minor operation theatres of the hospital are fully equipped for all kinds of surgeries.

The operation theatre has facilities like C-arm, Endoscope, laparoscopes, and Ophthalmic and ENT Microscopes, Ventilator, Cardiac Monitor & Defibrillator. The Hospital also has radiological facilities having X-ray machine and ultrasound. All Kinds of pathological investigation can be done at the excellent pathology lab in the hospital. There are separate general wards for males and Females along within the day.

The hospital also offers treatment for infertility and provides immunization servers. Baba Hospital is a DOT Center. Baba Hospital is privileged to run 'Saubhagyawati Surakshit Matritva Yojana' programme under which Free-delivery and an incentive of rupees fourteen hundred is provided for the care of mother and the new born.

The hospital also boats of providing free services to those living below poverty line (BPL scheme). Rashtriya Swasthya Beema Yojna is also provided to the BPL Smart Card holders. Every year on Republic day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti it organizes free medical camps with distribution of free medicines, tricycles for the hospital as well as in rural areas around Lucknow.

A branch of Baba hospital is rendering the same social service to the needy at Tala, District Raibarelly.

In the past one year, 1750 major and 2790 minor operations have been done, 9879 admissions were made with 6569 of those living below poverty line. A total of 41356 patients have benefited from the hospital OPD.

With the blessings of 'Sai Baba', the hospital hopes to continue its efforts of providing services to all, be it’s the poor or the rich.

About Us

Baba Educational Society is registered under Societies Registration Act xxi of 1860 and also under disabled welfare department. It was established in July 1999 with the main objectives of providing education, medical and social services to the deserving population of the society.
